Supervision Department - Chief Pharmaceutical Inspectorate

Scope of activities

The Department supervises Voivodship Pharmaceutical Inspectorates, executes tasks related to the quality supervision of medicinal products and medical devices which are subject to turnover on Polish market, and fulfils tasks of the Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector arising from the Act on Prevention of Drug Abuse and European Union Regulations no. 273/2004 and 111/2005. The Department is also responsible for matters related to wholesale trade in medicinal products as well as tasks concerning the supervision of medicinal products being the object of humanitarian aid.
